Terms of Service

The following definitions apply in these Terms:

• "Service": The web service named "GomiCale" provided by us
• "User": An individual who uses the Service
• "Registration Information": Information registered by users when using the Service
• "PDF Data": PDF files (such as garbage collection calendars) uploaded by users to the Service

Those wishing to use the Service must agree to comply with these Terms and register via OAuth authentication using their Google account.

Users must not allow third parties to use their account.

The Service analyzes PDF files uploaded by users using AI technology and provides functionality to automatically register schedule information such as garbage collection calendars to Google Calendar.

The Service is currently provided free of charge. Users will be separately notified if paid plans are introduced in the future.

The Service uses the Google Calendar API. By using the Service, users agree to grant the Service access to their Google account's calendar.

Access to Google accounts obtained by the Service is limited to reading and writing events to Google Calendar.

Users may revoke the Service's access permissions at any time from their Google Account settings.

Users may link external accounts (such as LINE) to use the Service. When using external integrations, users must comply with the terms of service set by the respective external services.

The Service transmits and processes text and image data sent via external services (e.g., LINE) or uploaded PDF data to external AI services (such as Google Generative AI) for the purpose of providing functionality (e.g., garbage classification). Users consent to this transmission and processing.

In the aforementioned data transmission, we prioritize user privacy and use external AI services with settings that prohibit the data from being used to train AI models (opt-out).

Users must not engage in any of the following when using the Service:

• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
• Acts related to criminal activity
• Acts that infringe on intellectual property rights, privacy, or other rights of us or third parties
• Acts that place excessive load on the Service's network or systems
• Acts that may interfere with Service operations
• Unauthorized access or attempts to do so
• Uploading PDFs containing third-party personal information without authorization
• Any other acts we deem inappropriate

We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to users in any of the following cases:

• When performing maintenance or updates to computer systems related to the Service
• When it becomes difficult to provide the Service due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fires, power outages, or natural disasters
• When computers or communication lines are stopped due to an accident
• When we determine it is otherwise difficult to provide the Service

We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI analysis results (dates, event titles, etc.) from the Service. Users must verify registered event content themselves.

We are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

The Service uses the Google Calendar API provided by Google LLC, and we are not responsible for issues arising from Google's service failures.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law.

Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our location.
